Connection settings
Connect in Amazon
- Create a Custom Skill in the Alexa Developer Console, using your Echo’s Amazon account.
- Choose English and enable the AudioPlayer interface.
- Save the Skill ID and Amazon User ID here.
- Download and import the interaction model. Download the Lambda handler and upload it as index.mjs to a supported Node.js Lambda runtime. Set the handler to index.handler.
- Add an Alexa Skills Kit trigger with Skill ID verification. Paste the Lambda ARN in your skill’s endpoint settings.
- Enable this connection and skill testing in Development. On your Echo say: Alexa, ask eden library to play my music.
The handler contains a private connection token. Keep it in your Amazon account. Setup is not complete until a real request reaches this server.
